Candidate Letter
My name is Kristi St. Laurent and I am running for State Representative, seeking one of the four seats representing Windham in Concord.
I am a Democrat, and I don’t apologize for that, but I do consider it a ‘starting point’ – not marching orders. It helps form my opinions and decisions to be sure, but it is considered along with the nearly twenty years I have lived in Windham, the 10+ years I have served on the Planning Board, two years on the Economic Development Committee, 2 years on the Capital Improvement Plan Committee, and the opinions and experiences of my family, friends and neighbors here in town.
At the end of the day in Concord, I must come back to Windham where I live, have friends and raise my kids – and answer to you.
I commit to you to represent Windham by listening in good faith to all sides, including Windham voices. I will work with fellow legislators regardless of party and sponsor and vote for bills that serve Windham and New Hampshire. I will watch for State Budget moves that try to shift costs down to towns like Windham.
If we have not met yet, you can learn about me at my website www.kristist.laurent.com or Facebook @St.LaurentforWindham. Call me at 603-845-9174 with questions. I want to earn your vote on November 6th.
Sincerely,
Kristi St. Laurent
